Kids create – A lion

Here is a craft you can make if you have some left over scrap fabric or yarn. A lion to hang the wall to decorate your room. For my older daughter Ella,, we made a rainbow see https://makencreate.com/?p=2697 but for my younger daughter Clara we made a simpler version using only one color, yellow to paint the cardboard.

You need:

  • Cardboard
  • Paint (we used watercolors)
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Hole puncher (or sharp big needle to make holes)
  • Scraps of old fabric in different colors (or yarn)

About

This is a creative blog, to inspire others to make stuff and be creative with your kids. Trying not to get too caught up in the material consumer world and with a childlike playfulness explore play in a more creative way with a sustainable mindset. Don´t focus too much on the product, the end result, sometimes its about the journey itself. Dare to explore, to reuse, to try again, to fail and to have fun!  – Sofie
