DIY Cat Patch
Lately it seems like all my kids pants have small holes! I always repair their jeans with iron on patches but with these kind of thin jersey leggings I have not even made any effort to fix. I have put them in the fabric recycle bin thinking that at least the fabric is recycled… and since they are not so expensive I just buy new ones. This is really starting to annoy me! Why do these type of pants break so easily? Are they such bad quality because the retailer keeps the price so low? And have we reached the limit, were we are making single use clothing for a very cheap price? I want more from our clothes, even if this means that I have to pay a bit more. I demand better quality and will stop buying these kinds of pants for my kids at least from the brands I know have such bad quality. But I am still left with a problem… my kids are running out of pants and I do not want to throw things away so I used an old t-shirt and a fabric marker to make some patches to fix all the holes with. Tada! New and improved cat pants!
