Ladybug birthday party
Last Sunday was Claras 4th birthday and we had a lady bug party for her. We made ladybug invitations, a lady bug piñata and decorated the cake and cake pops like a big mama bug and small baby bugs. This was not very expensive since we made almost everything our selves. The piñata was an old cardboard box that we cut up and taped together and decorated with some pink tissue paper and black paper dots. For the cake, we bought it without any decorations at the supermarket, we just added the head and the dots with black sugar paste. It ended up looking really fancy. The trick is to find what works best for you. I also try to include the kids as much as possible, to get some extra help and it is fun making stuff together.
