DIY Spiders for Halloween
Lately my pockets are full with Horse chestnuts, my kids are collecting them everywhere we go. They are super exited when they find some, they are like treasures to them. But what to do with all of them? We made some spiders to hang up as Halloween decorations. Scroll down to see how we made them!
- Horse chestnuts,
- Black paint
- White yarn
- Small paper eyes
You just stick 8 toothpicks in the chestnut, I cut off the ends, not to make them too sharp. Paint them it all black, let dry, glue on the eyes and wrap yarn around the legs of the spider making the spider web. Hang it up!
Sustainable craft details, the eyes are made from scraps from a hole puncher.
A super simple craft you can make together for Halloween. I try not to buy any Halloween stuff (except candy) There are so many things you can make yourself, decorations, snax and costumes.
